Bishop Carrie J. Surratt is Senior Pastor of The Lord’s Church of Restoration in Clinton, Maryland and Founder and President of Bible Prayer Time Faith Ministries, Incorporated. Bishop Surratt has served as the Academic Dean of the Restoration Development Institute. She currently serves on the College of Bishops, the Bishops’ Council, and as Bishop of Intercession for Kingdom Fellowship Covenant Ministry (KFCM) of Baltimore, Maryland covered by Archbishop Ralph L. Dennis.
Carrie J. Surratt is a native of Alexandria, Virginia where she completed her primary education. She pursued academic studies at George Washington University, University of Maryland, Washington Bible College, and Rhema Bible School. Bishop Surratt earned a Master’s Degree in Religious Studies and an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Washington Saturday College. In November 2015, Bishop Surratt received an Honorary Doctor of Ministry from Kingdom Covenant Theological Bible College, Baltimore, Maryland.
Bishop Surratt has served on the planning committee for Minority Women in Ministry for the National Council of Churches, USA. She was selected and is profiled in “Women of Achievement,” the first book of history in Prince George’s County, Maryland that chronicles women and their accomplishments. She has been accepted and is listed in Who’s Who in America, 2021-2022. Bishop is a successful author of three books: “Lord, Teach us to PUSH! Pray Until Something Happens”, “Power of an Unconditional Yes” and “The Life of Intercession.” She has won the 2025 Award from International Impact Book Awards for her third book.
By due prudence and examination, Bishop Surratt was consecrated into the Episcopacy by the Sacred College of Bishops in 2001. She was further elevated in the Episcopacy in November 2004, and is the Presiding Bishop of Restoration Covenant Ministries, (RCM) of Clinton, MD. Restoration Covenant Ministries is the apostolic and spiritual covering for bishops, pastors, para-ministries, and businesses.
Bishop Surratt attended The Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops’ Congress in Cleveland, Ohio; and was an active member for twenty years; she served as Secretary for the Advisory Board for ten years. She is also affiliated with Boundless Ministries, Inc., and Global Mission Ministry of Maryland. Bishop Surratt has worked in missions preaching, teaching, distributing food, clothes, and medicated sleeping nets in Kenya and Uganda, East Africa, and Cape Town, South Africa.
The Lady Bishop, as she is affectionately known, is an anointed preacher, a profound teacher of the Word of God, and an excellent conference speaker. Her greatest desires are to win the lost, bring restoration to fallen humanity and be an effective servant to the Body of Christ for God’s glory.
