About the Executive Pastor
Elder Rodney M. Christian
Executive Pastor, The Lord’s Church of Restoration
Elder Rodney M. Christian has faithfully served The Lord’s Church of Restoration (TLCR) for over 35 years. He was ordained as an Elder in 2001 and currently serves as Executive Pastor, providing spiritual leadership and overseeing the daily operations of the ministry.
Born in Richmond, Virginia, and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Elder Christian graduated from Bladensburg High School and continued his education at Prince George’s Community College and Bowie State University. He gave his life to the Lord in 1989 and joined the church, then known as Bible Prayer Time Faith Fellowship, in December 1990, where he was baptized.
Since that time, Elder Christian has served faithfully in numerous ministries, including Praise and Worship and Evangelism. His passion for outreach has led many to Christ—family members, friends, coworkers, and even strangers. He was later consecrated as a Minister and appointed Youth Pastor, a role in which he developed a dynamic curriculum for the Teen and Youth Ministry, organized retreats, and launched a Big Brother/Big Sister Mentorship Program that impacted both the church and local community.
Elder Christian also received mission training under Bishop David T. P. Perrin and served on a mission team in Kenya, East Africa. In April 2019, he was installed as Assistant Pastor and stepped into his current role as Executive Pastor.
Alongside ministry, Elder Christian is a devoted husband to Grace Christian, and together they are the proud parents of a daughter. His family life and faith walk are closely intertwined, reflecting his deep commitment to both home and church.
Elder Christian is a passionate worshipper, evangelist, and encourager, known for his humility, faithfulness, and servant leadership. He is an anointed preacher and conference speaker, teaching and counseling from the Word of God with deep spiritual insight and practical wisdom.
